Job Description

How you’ll make an Impact:

• You’ll generate and check vendor payments, review monthly and ad hoc artist payments and customer royalty statements
• Support business analytics and investigation of balances as required including revenue, gross margin and operating costs
• Run the gauntlet of month end with journals, balance sheet reconciliations and analysis responsibilities
• Manage cash flow across multiple bank accounts, countries and currencies
• Support the business across a range of Australian indirect taxes (GST, FBT, PAYG, payroll tax, workers compensation, superannuation) by establishing and monitoring Redbubble adherence to indirect tax compliance obligations
• Be the “Expensify” guru, managing our global expense reimbursement system
• Support continuous improvement with the ongoing review and update accounting procedures and controls

• Enthusiastic. You’re always up to do better and to do the unexpected.
• Creative. When the numbers don’t add up, you get people to laugh, but recalculate it.
• Collaborative. Knowledge and skill sharing is your superpower.
• An excellent communicator. You know how to make a connection beyond the realm of face-to-face interaction, you’re good with Slack, presentations, email correspondence (and sometimes via telepathic transmission).

And that team happens to work at Redbubble. Our growing Finance team is looking for an Accountant who doesn’t think there is anything mainstream about financial analysis and reporting.
